Although Stoke Women require funding to keep the club running, we still like to do our bit for charity and this season we will be supporting the Charities below.
Douglas Macmillan Hospice The Dougie Mac was established in 1973 as a 28-bed care facility for people suffering from incurable cancer, serving the North Staffordshire area but now looks after people with other life-limiting illnesses.
The Donna Louise Children's Hospice is an inspirational charity caring for children and young adults with life-limiting conditions, and their families. The charity takes its name from a young local girl, Donna Louise Hackney, who sadly died from a life limiting condition at the age of 16. Her family wanted to help other children and families in a similar situation and so began fundraising in her name.
